大众传播媒体即将迈入新世纪,作为传媒工具的报纸,它在我国的现状与发展又将如何?前不久,就这一问题,我们采访了中国新闻出版署报刊司司长刘波。他对这一大众关心的问题回答了我们的提问。 刘波说,报纸作为传播信息的工具,在不同的历史时期发挥了重大作用,尤其是改革开放20年来,我国的报刊事业有了长足的发展。就数量上看,1978年之前,全国有186种报纸,到1995年底,已发展到2202种,平均每三天就有一份新的报纸产生。就其内容类别来说,也有了显著的变化,1978
As the mass media is about to enter the new century, what is the status quo and development of the media as a media tool? Not long ago, on this issue, we interviewed Liu Bo, director of the press department of China’s Press and Publication Administration. He answered our questions to this public concern. Liu Bo said that as a tool for disseminating information, newspapers have played a significant role in different historical periods. In particular, since the reform and opening up two decades ago, the press has made great strides in its development. On a quantitative basis, there were 186 kinds of newspapers nationwide by 1978, and by the end of 1995 2202 kinds of newspapers had been developed, with an average of one new newspaper being produced every three days.
