March 7 to 9, 2014, the 15th track and field indoor World Championships in Sopot, Poland. More than 600 athletes from 143 countries and regions attended the competition, with more than the first 14 participating teams. The United States continued their strong team, once again ranked first in the team with 8 gold. Despite the lack of Liu Xiang, the Chinese team still achieved the third best result in the history of 1 silver and 1 bronze. 15 achievements were worse than the last session of the 13th Indoor World Championships held in Doha in 2010, rewriting a world record of men’s triple jump; last in Istanbul
