今年6月上旬,在内蒙古自治区林业厅领导的关怀、重视和支持下,厅老干部处组织了一次有30余名年龄多在60～70岁之间的离退休老同志参加的,赴锡林郭勒盟和赤峰地区参观、考察的活动.这次活动使老同志们发现,我区的林业建设成就十分突出,与他们在岗时相比,有很大变化.一路上,首先看到的是锡盟苏尼特左旗搞的牧防林和环境绿化、锡林浩特市的城市绿化、牧区造林成就以及苏尼特右旗等地大搞植树造林和城防林建设,使森林覆盖率明显增加,生态环境大有改善.看到这些,老同志们深为当地林业职工、群众的艰苦奋斗精神和绿化祖国、建设家乡的干劲所折服.
