以往形态学研究认为在埃及仅有温带型的尖音库蚊,而无热带型的致倦库蚊。在尼罗河的峡谷地带可采集到自殖和非自殖的尖音库蚊。作者选择埃及南北4个地区10个点多次采集污水中孳生的尖音库蚊幼虫或蛹,带至实验室羽化至成蚊,-70℃冰冻保存以备电泳分析。采用淀粉胶电泳方法,分析该种蚊虫群体内、群体间的遗传差异程度。共进行10种酶位点的研究,包括α-磷酸甘油脱氢酶(α-GPD)、腺苷酸激酶(AK-1,AK-2)、酯酶、苹果酸脱氢酶(MDH-1,MDH-2)、
Previous morphological studies suggest that there are only temperate Culex pipiens pallens in Egypt and no tropical Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus. Crested Culex pipiens pallens can be collected in the gorges of the Nile River. The author chose 10 points in four areas of Egypt and North Korea to collect the Culex pipiens pallens larvae or pupae collected in the sewage several times and brought them to the laboratory for emergence to adult mosquitoes and stored at -70 ℃ for electrophoresis analysis.
