长江下荆江河段的碾子湾河道长度只有 2 8km,分布着严重碍航的碾子湾浅滩 ,藕池口浅滩 ,石首锐弯与被泥沙沉积的石首港。 1980年以来碾子湾河道发生严重的侵蚀与沉积。 1995年 2月至 3月因碾子湾浅滩严重沉积使航道恶化 ,断航达 2 9天 ,约 5 0 0多艘江轮与 6万多名旅客相继滞留在碾子湾河道上 ,在长江中游近代航运史上实属罕见。本文从近 40多年来碾子湾的河床演变和鱼尾洲护岸工程角度评述碾子湾航道与石首港恶化的原因。这些研究成果对长江中下游与碾子湾河道浅滩、港口与护岸工程以及河道整治均有重要的参考价值
The length of the Nianzaziwan river channel along the Jingjiang reach of the Yangtze River is only 28km, with heavily fenced Nianzidian Bay shoals, Ouchi Koukou shoals, Shijou sharp corners and Shishou Port, where sediments are deposited. Severe erosion and sedimentation of the Nianzhai Bay channel since 1980. In February-March 1995, the severe sedimentation of the Nianzhai Bay shoal deteriorated the waterway, leaving 29 days for sailing and about 500 more riverboats and more than 60,000 passengers remaining in the Nianzaziwan channel. In the late modern times in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, Shipping history is rare. This article reviews the reasons for the deterioration of the Nianzhai Bay waterway and Shishou Port from the perspective of the riverbed evolution of Nianzhai Bay and the protection of the fish tail bank in the recent 40 years. These research results have important reference value for the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Nianzhai Bay shoals, ports and revetment projects and river regulation
