为了贯彻“百花齐放、百家争鸣”的方针,繁荣戏剧创作,交流戏剧创作经验和探讨戏剧创作问题,本刊召开了全国戏剧创作座谈会,邀请二十七个省、市、自治区以及部队的剧作者近百人参加会议。文化部部长黄镇同志出席了大会,文化部副部长周巍峙、贺敬之、林默涵,以及老一辈剧作家和文艺评论家周扬、夏衍、曹禺、于伶、张庚、李伯钊、冯牧、王朝闻、吴雪、郭汉城等同志都相继在会上作了重要的讲话。与会的同志通过观摩和小组讨论,畅谈了在第十一次路线斗争中的深切感受和创作体会,并踊跃地在大会上发言。座谈会从五月十八日开始,至三十一日完满结束。这次座谈会分为三阶段进行,第一阶段揭批“四人帮”,第二阶段讨论戏剧创作问
