Objective To observe the changes of esophagone in esophageal reflux disease (GERD) patients with lower esophageal squamous cell gap (DIS) changes. Methods Five healthy volunteers were randomly selected to measure DIS of esophageal mucosa as a normal reference value. Six non-erosive GERD (NERD) patients and five patients with reflux esophagitis (RE) were selected as the treatment group. Somelazole treatment for 3 months, in the dentate line 3 ~ 5cm mucosa at the biopsy to observe the DIS and before treatment whether the change, and its statistical analysis. Results After 5 months of treatment, the DIS of 5/6 patients in the NERD group returned to normal (83.3%), and the DIS of 4/5 patients in the RE group returned to normal (80%). DIS did not return to normal 2 patients clinical symptoms have not completely disappeared. Conclusions After 3 months of esomeprazole treatment, the changes of DIS in GERD patients were significant and the clinical symptoms improved significantly.
