第二届轮轨关系学术讨论会于一九八○年十月十四日至十月二十日在北京铁道部科学研究院本部举行。来自部内各业务局、铁路局、高等院校和科研机关等二十九个单位、六十余位代表参加了会议。还有应邀前来参加的英国达比铁路技术中心的学者J.R.Mitchell先生和C.O.Frederick先生。会议由铁道部科学研究院陈九铭副院长主持,苏华副院长致开幕
The 2nd Symposium on the Relationship between the Railways and the Railways was held in the headquarters of the Beijing Research Institute of Railways from October 14 to October 20, 1980. Twenty-nine units from various business bureaus, railway bureaus, institutions of higher learning and research institutes attended the meeting. More than 60 representatives attended the meeting. As well as J.R.Mitchell and C.O. Frederick, academics from the Darby Railway Technology Center in the UK invited to attend. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Chen Jiuming of the Academy of Science of the Ministry of Railways and Vice President Su Hua was opened
