1999年10月8日至12日,全国社会文化重点工程暨公共图书馆评估工作会议在辽宁省沈阳市召开,至此文化部1997年以来对全国2323个县级以上公共图书馆的评估定级工作全部结束。评估共产生一级图书馆215个,二级图书馆581个,三级图书馆755个。我区参加评估的101个公共图书馆中,58个被命名为三级以上图书馆,其中,通辽市(现通辽市科尔沁区)图书馆、赤峰市红山区民族少年儿童图书馆被命名为一级图书
From October 8 to 12, 1999, the National Social and Cultural Key Project and Public Library Evaluation Conference was held in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Since then, the Ministry of Culture has evaluated and rated 2,323 public libraries at or above the county level in China since 1997 All over. A total of 215 first-level libraries, 581 second-level libraries and 755 third-level libraries were assessed. Among the 101 public libraries in our district, 58 are designated as Libraries of Level 3 or above. Among them, Tongliao City (now Horqin District Tongliao Library) and Hongshan District Children’s Library of Hongshan District in Chifeng City are named as one Grade books
