March 14-17, 1996. American New York Greek on the troupe and the Chinese Peking Opera, in the east of Beijing Wangfujing Children’s Theater in China, staged the tragedy of the ancient Greek dramatist Euripides tragedy “Baccarat.” This is the first time that the Peking Opera Theater has collaborated with Western theater troupes and experimented with the combination of ancient Greek theater forms and Chinese Peking opera style. This undoubtedly has great significance for the communication and blending of Eastern and Western cultures.
