Hans Wernher Henze (1926 ~) is a leading German composer. Born in Westphalia, he grew up during Nazi rule. His rebellious personality of natural freedom and his Nazi believer’s family once produced intense conflicts in the field of ideology. During World War II, he was admitted to the German army.
