阐述了玻璃双折射测量的一般原理和方法,单四分之一波片法测量中的两个关键问题。叙述了新研制的立式双折射仪的结构特点、使用方法、影响测量精度的主要因素。常见的玻璃双折射仪,测量精度可达3nm,但多为卧式,其缺点是玻璃件安置不便,转动寻找主应力方向时,极易倾倒,且试件形状受到限制,温度影响大,杂散光干扰大。作者针对上述不足,设计和试制的立式双折射仪对此作了较大改进。分别用试件在立式和卧式双折射仪上进行了测量比较,证明新仪器性能良好。
The general principles and methods of glass birefringence measurement are described. Two key problems in the measurement of single quarter-wave plate method are described.
