After entering the winter in 1993, the Inner Mongolia reach of the Yellow River was hit by a rare cold wave in history. The river formed a closed river under the condition of only one day of flow. After the closure of the river, the temperature variation fluctuated greatly, forming a closed river characteristic different from previous years.
