New Year’s Day in 2008 coincides with the 145th anniversary of the birth of Coubertin, the father of the modern Olympics. Beijing officially entered the Olympic year. At the Athletics Gymnasium of Beijing Sport University, 145 people from all walks of life are deeply affectionate and chanted their love and hope for the Olympic Games.
