目前,我们的社会日益发展成为高度科学化、信息化的社会,人们对教育的需求不断增加。教育已经不仅仅是学校围墙内的教育了,人们可以通过学校、家庭、社区以及各种各样的传媒获得大量的信息,这些信息的积累在潜移默化中对人们产生了强大的影响力。人们所能够接触到的教育情境、教育内容、教育方法已与传统意义上的教育产生了巨大的差异。1965年法国教育家保罗·朗格朗在《终身教育引论》中指出,
