别墅考源“别墅”一词,考其究竟,最早出自东晋时代。在《晋书·谢安传》中记载:“安(人名)与玄(即谢玄)围棋诸别墅。”别墅,亦称“别业”。南北朝石崇在《思归引序》中说:“晚节更放逸,笃好林树薮,遂肥遁于河阳(地名)别业。”别墅,别业,均指主要住宅之外另置的园林建筑游息处所。历史上也有把较具规模的别墅群称为:私庄、义庄、别庄等。
