Twenty-four crossbred rats weighing 187-275 g were randomly divided into control group (10 rats) and hypoxia (14 rats). Rats were anesthetized with urethane and chlorate mixture intraperitoneally and artificial air was administered. Rats in the hypoxic group were treated with 10% O 2 :- 90% N 2 mixed gas for 20 minutes.
