企业开展知识管理的重要价值在于促进员工之间的交流和知识转移。先进的信息技术平台和完善的组织结构极大地促进了员工之间畅通的知识流动,但是,更重要的还在于理解和建立知识在企业内部流动和共享的机制。美国德克萨斯州立大学奥斯丁分校商学院教授Davenport在与Prusak合著的新书《Working Knowledge》(1998年)中,提出了企业内部的“知识市场”理论。
The important value of enterprises to carry out knowledge management lies in promoting the exchange and knowledge transfer among employees. Advanced information technology platforms and well-organized structures have greatly facilitated smooth flow of knowledge among employees, but more importantly, understanding and building mechanisms for the flow and sharing of knowledge within the enterprise. Davenport, a professor at the Business School of the University of Texas at Austin in the United States, proposed a theory of “knowledge markets” within the enterprise in a new book “Working Knowledge” (1998) co-authored with Prusak.
