分层教学所指的是教师结合学生现有的知识、能力以及潜力来科学且合理的把学生分成若干个小组,每一组的小组成员水平相近,从而来区别对待每一个小组,而这些小组也能够在教师合理的分层教学策略之下,在群组成员相互作用中得到不断的提升。本文就高校英语教学中分层教学模式应用进行了探讨。从高校英语分层教学的现状出发,从对教学对象的分层、对教学要求及教学要求的分层、对考核和评价的分层、对学生课后作业的分层以及实行滚动式的教学机制这五方面提出了分层教学模式在高校英语教学中的具体实施,最后分析了高校英语教学应用分层教学模式需要注意的问题,具有一定的现实意义。
