New York New York Dating Courtship Semi-Automatic Mobile Phone Becomes Cupid The Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s media laboratory released a mobile software program called “Romance” in mid-March. Its principle is simple: a cellphone holder registers his personal information with a cellphone operator’s server, and the cellphone operator processes and matches the information through the computer. When two registrants who have been identified as “eligible” by the computer meet by chance, their handsets signal. If they are in the same bookstore or cafe, they may greet each other or drink coffee together.
