浇杯孕育工艺在西安柴油机厂试用成功以后,1973年3月曾在该厂的生产条件下,以295曲轴为对象,研究了不同硅铁孕育量对曲轴金相组织和常规机械性能的影响。当时我们发现在浇杯孕育工艺中,存在一个合理的孕育量问题,对于295曲轴来说,曾提出以加入0.12%孕育剂量为佳。1975年4月,在《瞬时浇杯孕育工艺浇注的球黑铸铁的机械性能》一文中,进一步提出随着铸件重量的减小,最佳孕育值有增大的倾向。但是在浇杯孕育工艺中,除了加入不同的硅铁量影响机械性能外,还存在硅铁不同的颗粒度问题,这不同的颗粒度是否也涉及到球墨铸铁的机械性能,为此我们在原生产条件下,在浇杯中加入重量相同而粒度不同的硅铁,进行了下列试验:
