目前,我国科学普及讀物的編写也应該反映中国自己的風格,从内容到写作形式,都应該更好地服务于我国的社会主义建設。过去我国的科学普及讀物多沿用英美資本主义国家通俗读物的写法。这种写法强調的是科学和文艺相結合。这一点不能说錯。問題是没有把为生产服务、为社会主义建設服务放在第一位;也就是没有把实用放在第一位,通俗化没有放在第二位,片面的强調文艺化,就有毛病。过去的那种写法,不注意結合生产,不注意結合实际。也就是說,这些書籍中所談到的問題,所介紹的知識不是来自群众的:既不注意总結先进生产經驗,也不注意發揮我国古代留傳下来的科学文化遺产。这样的書,
