Some people compared the competitive access to broadband access to the “last mile” competition. A few years ago, ADSL access technology, considered by some to be backward technology, has today become a leader in the broadband access market and became the earliest winner to achieve “the last mile” access. Although some experts think that ADSL is not a real broadband and does not represent the direction of future broadband development, ADSL’s development in China has gradually started to be praised by the advantages of both price and security. Among them, Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Guangdong Province, five more rapid development.
