豫西地区地质构造复杂,矿产资源丰富,是我省地质调查的重点地区之一。该区过去曾作过许多地质工作,积累了丰富的资料。在构造研究方面也取得了较大的进展,各学派都有一些论著。近几年来,我们又开展了构造调查,收集了一些资料,发现本区太古代至下元古代地层中,普遍存在一组近南北向的褶皱和断裂,它们形成的时间较早,力学性质主要为压性,其体系归属尚待研究,因此,我们暂称它为古经向构造。
The geological structure in western Henan is complex and rich in mineral resources, which is one of the key areas in the geological investigation in our province. There have been many geological work in the area and a wealth of information has been accumulated. Great progress has also been made in the study of structure, with some treatises by all schools. In recent years, we conducted a tectonic investigation and collected some data. It is found that a series of near-north-south fold and fault are widespread in the Archean to Lower Paleozoic strata in this area, and their formation time is earlier and their mechanical properties are mainly For the pressure, its system of ownership remains to be studied, therefore, we tentatively call it the ancient meridian structure.
