X telecom companies to implement data mining support for precision marketing, based on the current trend of needs and data construction conditions. The paper briefly introduces the relevant theories of the algorithm decision tree classification method and cites the project process implemented in the actual work of X Telecom Company, and describes the data mining process of the telecom company in order to identify the target customers of the Y Package. From determining the business goals to the final marketing implementation, the process of target package identification of package Y can be roughly divided into five stages. It emphasizes that the data mining project needs to know the business meaning and data meaning of the project by means of market research and business interview.
