参(Radix Scrophnlariae Ningpoensis)属参科的多年生草本。方茎直立,高1米有余,全株密生短毛。叶对生有柄为长卵圆形而先端尖,边缘有锯齿。夏月顶生圆锥形花序,开淡黄绿色或紫红色的唇形花雄蕊4枚雌蕊1枚,结果小卵形。其根肥大纺锤形,表面呈灰褐色有深纵雏曲,质硬折断面平坦,无纤维,内肉白色,干燥后,全部变为黑色。入药用其根部,有消炎解热的作用,适用于咽喉、口腔、结膜、淋巴腺及上呼吸道的炎症。栽培方法:一般均用芽头繁殖。1 气候: 参为温带怍物,适宜于温暖稍湿润和阳光充足的环境中生长。2.土壤:以疏松肥沃而排水良好的沙质土壤为最好,不宜于粘土低洼地区或石砾地。本品为深根作
