法国索拉克公司敦刻尔克厂4号高炉,炉容为3650m~3,炉缸直径14m,有风口40个,铁口4个,于1987年11月投产。该高炉1990年7月综合燃料比445kg/t铁,其中冶金焦(>25mm)270kg/t铁,碎焦25kg/t铁;煤粉180kg/t铁(煤焦置换比0.83),创下了高炉喷吹煤粉量的世界纪录。取得这一成绩的主要条件是:①炉况稳定顺行。在1990年5~7月间,日产量介于8500~9000t,利用系数2.4t/(m~3·d)。尽管喷煤量增加,高炉透气性指数(按炉腹煤气量计算)依然保持在4000左右,透气性良好,炉料呈有规律下降;热量损失也比较稳定,并且与按照恒定边缘气流计算的目标相一致(这是按炉墙上仍残留有耐火内衬考虑的)。采取对炉缸渣铁排放和煤气分布的控制亦有利于高炉操作的稳定;②鼓风条件
