贝满女中是一所教会学校,1864年由美国基督教公理会创建,是北京近代最早引进西方教育的学校,1952年改为北京市女十二中,现为北京166中学。解放战争时期,当时北平八所基督教会办的中学(育英、汇文、慕贞、崇德、笃志、崇实、崇慈、贝满)教员中,共有12名是华北局城工部的中共地下党员,贝满女中就占7名。贝满女中的教师支部很有自己的特色,从党支部到外围组织再到教员会,一共三层组织,层层扩大,做了很多工作,取得了不少成绩。陈琏被捕对我是第一次考验我参加革命是因为从沦陷区到国统区一路上的所见所闻触动了我。1941年12月8日,
