伞齿轮是汽车上的重要传动零件,材料为20CrNiMo钢,外径310毫米,内径250毫米,堆焊面宽60毫米。齿轮在使用过程中,牙面极易磨损,牙也经常被打断。如何修复这类齿轮,是汽车修理工作的一个难题。曾试图用合金钢焊条堆焊被磨损的齿面,但因熔合不良,极易产生裂纹,变形等缺陷而未能采用。后又采用在伞齿轮背面用气焊堆焊一层15毫米厚与工件相同的金属,然后把已磨损的齿车掉,重新铣齿的方法。这种方法劳动强度大、成本高,每个齿轮约35元,且堆焊质量不能保证,所以也不宜采用。板极电渣堆焊平面是电渣焊的一种特殊应
