Coco Chanel （19 August 1883—10 January 1971） was a French fashion designer and founder of the Chanel brand. From her first millinery shop， opened in 1912， to the 1920s， Coco Chanel rose to become one of the premier fashion designers in Paris， France. Her fashion themes included simple suits and dresses， women’s trousers， costume jewelry， perfume and textiles.
