在凯拉纳(Kerala)的东部地区,近500万t含有少量石墨杂质的高岭土矿可望得到有效的利用。用传统的选矿工艺处理后,这些瓷土中仍然含有0.1~0.3%的石墨碳,这些粘土用于纸张涂层时会使纸张表面留下墨斑点,这是用户很不希望的。本文提供了絮凝反浮选工艺除去这些微粒石墨杂质是一种合适的选矿技术。用这种工艺,70%的石墨可在粗选阶段除掉,而粘土的回收率可在95%以上,10%以上的石墨可在扫选中脱除掉。
In eastern Kerala, nearly 5 million tons of kaolin ore containing small amounts of graphite impurities are expected to be used efficiently. After the traditional beneficiation process, these porcelain clay still contains 0.1 to 0.3% of graphitic carbon, which is undesirable for users when they are used in paper coating to leave ink spots on the paper surface. This article provides a flocculation anti-flotation process to remove these particulate graphite impurities is a suitable dressing technology. With this process, 70% of the graphite can be removed in the roughing stage, while the clay recovery can be over 95%. More than 10% of the graphite can be removed during the sweep.
