词汇是语言学习的最基本元素,是构成语言大厦的基石。《牛津高中英语》教材中有高达3500余个词汇需要学生掌握,而这些词汇相对于初中阶段更难。很多在初中英语成绩的佼佼者,自进入高中之后,不能适应这一变化,英语成绩大幅下降。其中,词汇可谓是制约学生成绩的瓶颈。因此,教师在教学中,开展英语单词记忆方法的指导,让学生迅速步入成绩提升的快车道,应该是广大高中英语教师的首要选择。本文结合个人在工作中的点滴体会,谈一些粗浅的做法,与同行分享。笔者选
Vocabulary is the most basic element of language learning, is the cornerstone of the language building. Up to 3,500 words in Oxford High School textbooks require student mastery, and these words are harder than in junior high school. Many of the outstanding English achievement in junior high school, since entering high school, can not adapt to this change, English scores dropped significantly. Among them, the vocabulary can be described as a bottleneck restricting student achievement. Therefore, teachers in teaching, to carry out the instruction of the English word memory method, so that students quickly into the fast lane to improve performance, should be the primary choice for the majority of high school English teachers.
