为改变传统教学中学生主体缺失,教师主导过强,课堂教学被简化为机械的知识传递的现象,新课程提出“自主学习”的理念。而“学习目标自定、学习方法自选、学习过程自控、学习结果自我反馈”的表现形式,使广大教师在具体的教学实践中难以把握,出现了一些不良现象。有的教师在进行简单的导课后把课堂全部让给了学生。有位老师讲《松鼠》时,演示了松鼠漂亮的外表、活动的场所以及居住环境的课件后,便让学生自己学习。结果,有的学生一遍遍的看教师的课件;有的学生乱画等等。有的教师虽然参与其中,与学生形成互动,但对学生的提问及解答一味地赞扬,不去矫正,不会点拨。有位教师是这样来教《司马光》的:
