《芬尼根的守灵》虽然如天书般难解,却从20世纪60年代起对当代文学创作和美学理论产生着越来越大的影响。传统的《芬尼根的守灵》研究主要以词语解读为主,出现了一大批词典和著作,但是仍有许多词语没有得到解释。写梦说也曾长期流行,并且由此提出“模仿形式”说来解释《芬尼根的守灵》的独特形式。解构主义对推动从新的角度认识《芬尼根的守灵》的美学价值起了重要作用,巴赫金的狂欢理论则开启了对《芬尼根的守灵》的多声部语言和包容美学的认识,给该书的喜剧风格提供了理论支持。
Although “Fennigan’s Guardian Spirit” is as ridiculous as the Bible, it has been having a growing influence on contemporary literary creation and aesthetic theory since the 1960s. The traditional study of “Finnegan’s Waring Spirit” is mainly based on the interpretation of words. A large number of dictionaries and writings appear, but many words are still not explained. The dream of writing has long been popular, and from this it is proposed that the “imitative form” be used to explain the unique form of “Fennegan’s guardian spirit.” Deconstruction has played an important role in promoting the aesthetic value of “Finishing the Spirit of God” from a new perspective. Bakhtin’s Carnival Theory has opened up the understanding of the multi-vocal language and inclusive aesthetics of “Finnegan’s Waring Spirit” Provided theoretical support for the book’s comedy style.
