塑料板排水法加固软基的原理与砂井法类同,且加固效果亦基本一致。现场实验表明,塑料板排水法的总造价已接近砂井法,并具有打设机械轻便,效率高,用砂量省,对土扰动小的优点,很适于与真空预压配合,用来加固大面积的超软地基或稳定性不足的边坡地段。如果塑料板的成本有所降低的话,那么塑料板排水法代替砂井法将是可能的。现将一航局科研所、华东水利学院、天津港务局的实验研究报道刊如登下,以资参考。
