今年五月二十三日,是毛主席的《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》发表四十周年纪念日。四十年前,《讲话》的发表,掀起了“五四”运动以后又一次更伟大、更深刻的文艺革命,从而使我国文艺活动的面貌焕然一新。经过四十年的征战,一支党所领导的,在毛泽东文艺思想哺育下成长的革命文艺队伍日趋壮大。十年动乱岁月.这支队伍更加磨炼出傲霜嫉恶的品格;党的十一届三中全会的春风,为它带来日益美好的发芽吐蕊的季节。我们托足于这支革命文艺队伍的行列,是值得引以自豪的。
May 23 this year marks the 40th anniversary of Chairman Mao’s speech on “Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium.” Forty years ago, the publication of “Speech” set off another great and profound literary revolution after the “May 4th Movement” so that the appearance of Chinese literary and art activities would be completely renewed. After 40 years of expedition, a contingent of revolutionary literature and art under the leadership of a party who grew up under the guidance of Mao Zedong’s literary and art thought has become increasingly powerful.
