目前,我国正处于城镇化建设的关键时期,党的十八大提出要坚持走中国特色新型工业化、信息化、城镇化、农业现代化道路;然而,城镇化不是简单的推导了重建,为了避免在城镇化过程中出现建筑物千篇一律、环境欠佳等弊端,新型城镇化要以人为本、充分发挥传统民居与自然环境相适应的优势,从人、建筑、自然所构成的整体环境出发,设计出能够实现人、建筑、自然三者和谐统一,并且能够体现地域特色的新式生态民居。
