陶城(1924.02.13—2011.02.28),汉族,安徽歙县人,教授、教育家、力学家。陶城为陶行知先生之四子,陶城在少年时,就胸怀爱国壮志,积极参加抗日民族解放斗争。1938年参加其父创办的革命教育先锋组织《生活教育社》,青年时积极参加民主和平斗争,大力支援人民解放战争。1943-1944年,在其父创办的育才学校任教。1950年毕业于上海交通大学航空工程
Tao Cheng (1924.02.13-2011.02.28), Han, Anhui Pixian people, professors, educators, mechanics. Tao Cheng is the fourth son of Mr. Tao Xingzhi. When Tao Cheng was young, he embarked on patriotic aspirations and took an active part in the anti-Japanese national liberation struggle. In 1938 to participate in his father’s revolutionary education pioneer organization “life education society”, youth actively participate in the democratic peace struggle, vigorously support the people’s liberation war.
