7216是湖北省天门县生物农药厂生产的细菌杀虫剂,是目前取代有机氯制剂防治玉米螟比较好的生物农药。我市从1978年开始试用7216防治玉米螟,当年防效达77％。1982年又用7216菌粉与细砂按1:20～30的配比,制成颗粒剂,防治玉米螟4.5万余亩,平均防效为76％。1983年将防治面积扩大到36万亩,平均防效为72.8％。具体做法是,每亩用菌粉0.2～0.3斤,拌细砂7斤左右,制成颗粒剂,在玉米心叶末期前,施于玉米心内,每株玉米施颗粒剂1克左右。
