基于接收信号强度(RSS)的测距定位受到动态多径的严重影响。本文提出跳频接收信号强度(FHRSS)定位系统。FHRSS利用广播电视的保护频带传送测距信号,在大量而且分布很广的保护频带之间跳频测量。为了对抗多径的严重影响,我们基于频率选择特性设计了一种高效的多径误差消除方法。FHRSS具有简单的闭合测距表达式,避免了制约传统RSS测距方法的训练过程。我们使用USRP N210软件无线电平台实现了FHRSS定位系统并在动态室内环境下对其进行了性能测试。实验结果表明,FHRSS相比传统RSS测距误差降低了10倍,定位误差下降了20多倍,到达2.6m的定位精度。
Ranging localization based on Received Signal Strength (RSS) is severely affected by dynamic multipath. This paper presents a frequency hopping received signal strength (FHRSS) positioning system. FHRSS uses the guard band of radio and television to transmit ranging signals and perform frequency hopping measurements among a large number of widely distributed guard bands. In order to combat the serious effects of multipath, we designed an efficient multipath error cancellation method based on the frequency selection characteristics. FHRSS has a simple closed range expression, avoiding the traditional RSS Ranging training methods. We implemented the FHRSS positioning system using the USRP N210 software radio platform and tested it in a dynamic indoor environment. Experimental results show that FHRSS has a 10-fold reduction in ranging error compared with traditional RSS, a 20-fold reduction in positioning error, and a positioning accuracy of 2.6m.
