一、别本《南宗赞》跋敦煌遗书《南宗赞》,对禅宗历史的研究,对敦煌歌辞的研究,都颇具重要意义,因此,胡适之、任二北、冉云华诸位先生无不瞩目于此。由于《南宗赞》各种写本的渐次发现,我们对它的认识也就逐步加深。拙文即为笔者所发现的别本《南宗赞》而作。《南宗赞》用“五更转”的曲调,每更一曲,一共五曲。任二北先生将它归之于“定格联章”类。先前所见之本,大多第一曲开头为“一更长”一个三字句,以后四曲则开头两个三字句,
