伦敦市正在筹划暌违近60年的奥运会,耗资120多亿美元扩建运动场馆和基础设施,然而这个八百万人口的国际化大都市仍然缺少一个关键元素,那就是伦敦并没有符合奥运会要求的竞赛泳池。于是,伦敦人利用这次奥运的契机,开始了他们对符合奥运要求游泳馆的建设。
London is planning a 60-year Olympic Games that cost more than 12 billion U.S. dollars to expand sports venues and infrastructure. However, one of the key elements of this cosmopolitan city of 8 million people is still lacking. There is no competition in London that meets the requirements of the Olympic Games Pool.
