据《新闻报》6月16日讯:由于新闻用纸成本激增,严重威胁全球报业经营,亚洲报业更面临一场危机而全力投入“救灾”,有些报社干脆关门大吉。全球最大的新闻用纸生产商“飞而起”工业集团加拿大分公司上周宣布,自6月1日起和其他主要纸厂同步,把新闻纸自每吨675美元,上涨为760美元。USM 新闻公司自7月1日起要对英国的新闻纸上涨33％。
