The eight groups of Dedong Village in Zaima Township, Qijiang County, Guizhou Province, are a Dai village, with 13 households and about 80 people. Due to living in the mountains, far from the power grid and without roads, the people are very poor. The per capita annual income is less than 500 yuan.
