黄田是上世纪30年代初中期活跃在哈尔滨左翼文化运动幕后的积极人物,他以伪警察署长的身份为当时在哈尔滨从事左翼文化运动及我党地下工作人员提供了积极的掩护,为左翼文化运动做出了巨大的贡献。正如萧军的女儿萧耕所说:“某种意义上说,如果没有黄田,也就没有以后的萧军和萧红了。”文中作者刘大志本着对历史负责的态度,多次走访被黄田掩护过的著名左翼作家萧军及金剑啸烈士的子女,并深入黄田同志生前最后一个工作单位东北农业大学查阅其个人档案,在黄田同志自传、被其掩护当事人的证言以及伪警们对其“通共”怀疑等第一手资料的基础上撰成此文,生动翔实地描绘了黄田这个“白皮红心”伪警察署长鲜为人知的传奇人生。本刊从第1期开始连载此文,以飨读者。
