唐德宗贞元年间,郑德璘途经洞庭湖,傍晚在湖畔休憩,一位年轻貌美的姑娘拿着钓竿出来钓鱼,夕阳斜照在她身上,将她周身笼罩上一层淡淡的橘红色,将她秀丽的脸庞衬托的无比可爱。纤手垂钩对水窗,红蕖秋色艳长江。既能解佩投交甫,更有明珠乞一双。——郑德璘《投韦氏》纤细柔美的小手在水窗边垂下了钓钩,就像初秋的红莲般,艳丽的容姿惊动了长江。江水中的女神都能将自己的玉佩交给郑交甫,我求你也送我一对明亮的珍珠做信物吧。这是郑德璘写给姑娘的情诗,正是这首诗让郑德璘找到了他的终身伴侣。唐德宗贞元年间,郑德璘每年都要在夏天的时候前往江夏去探望他的亲戚,途中必定会路过洞庭湖。
