Arthur Willie is a famous British translator, sinologist, writer and poet. His work has always been regarded as a treasure of English literature. August 19, 1889, Willie was born in a Jewish family in TunbridgeWells, England. He was clever childhood, love language and literature. In 1903, he studied at the prestigious Rugby School in England and received a scholarship from the Royal College of Cambridge for his outstanding classical literature. During his three years in Cambridge, he was a student of Professors G. L. Dickinson and G. E. Moore. The two scholars admired the ideas of the oriental ancient civilization and influenced the young Willie, which gave him the desire to devote himself to the study of oriental culture.
