城市当中的公共艺术体现着一座城市的文化，并从艺术的角度记录了城市的历史文化，体现着这座城市的精神。作为欧洲著名的历史文化古城和现代艺术的胜地，巴塞罗通过公共艺术设计来提升城市的文化底蕴和艺术性，这对发展我国城市公共艺术事业提供了很好的学习和研究资料。
