我省从八月二十六日到九月十一日举行了山西省第一届人民代表大会第三次会议。原选代表名额共为三二一人,因有三位代表去世、三位代表辞职尚未补选,故此次出席会议的代表为三一五人,实出席代表为二七九人;连同列席会议之全国人民代表大会代表四人,省级各机关负责人三五人,共为三一八人。会议主要议程为:学习全国人民代表大会第二次会议通过的发展国民经济的第一个五年计划及其它各项报告和决议;决定我省发展国民经济的第一个五年计划;通过全省人民在最近时期内「为增加生产、厉行节约、做好粮食工作并战胜部分地区的严重灾荒而斗争」的迫切任务。
From August 26 to September 11, the province held the third session of the first people’s congress of Shanxi Province. The total number of the original deputies to be elected is 321.
