石油工业部在第二个五年计划期间将扩建石油二厂和新疆独山子炼油厂。目前,扩建工程的设计图纸、设备供应等各项准备工作正积极进行中。石油二厂的扩建任务是很大的,全部扩建任务完成后二厂将成为一个完善的、东北最大的页岩干馏和页岩焦油加工工厂。其焦油加工的原料是本厂自产的页岩焦油,一部分原料将来自石油一厂和石油九厂。在该厂的扩建设计中按照经济合理的原则,除尽量保留现有设备、建筑物和构筑物外,还将在运输系统中
